Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
We provide a range of Open-Protocol Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, including Addressable, Conventional and Wireless Systems.
It is a legal requirement for all non-domestic/commercial properties, where necessary, to have appropriate Fire Detection and Alarm Systems installed. It is also a requirement to ensure those systems are appropriately maintained.
Performed by competent technicians, we can design and install Fire Detection and Alarm Systems to meet the needs of a fire risk assessment. Our technicians will also perform detailed checks following the installation to ensure the system is safe, ready to use and staff are appropriately trained in its operation.
Our technicians have a comprehensive understanding of the appropriate British Standards and with our maintenance packages, we will perform regular inspections to ensure your system is maintained to a high standard and that the system remains reliable, suitable for the building and fully operational, ready in the event of a fire. You will also benefit from discounted call out rates and 24-hour support.
For extra protection, we can also link your system to our Alarm Receiving Centre, alerting us when a fire alarm is activated. Our control room personnel will then notify the local fire and rescue service, as well as a keyholder.
We are BAFE Registered for the Installation, Maintenance, Commissioning and Handover of Fire Alarm Systems, in which we are third-party certificated by SSAIB. We continuously demonstrate best practice in working to British Standard BS 5839-1 and BAFE SP203-1.
Intruder and Hold-Up Alarm Systems
Whether you are a domestic customer looking for a basic audible (“bells only”) burglar alarm, or a Commercial customer looking for a highly advanced, fully monitored alarm system with Police Response, our experienced team can tailor a solution to meet your needs.
We provide systems to all current grading specifications (Grades 1 to 4) designed to best suit your premises and security requirements.
We can link your Intruder Alarm System to our Alarm Receiving Centre, alerting us when your alarm is activated. Our control room personnel will then despatch a keyholder, and, in the event of a verified intrusion, the police.
As an SSAIB-certificated provider, we continually demonstrate confidence and competence in the design, installation and maintenance of British Standard compliant Intruder Alarm Systems, meeting the requirements of Insurance Companies and enabling us to apply for URNs (Police Response) for monitored systems.
Keeping your Alarm System maintained regularly will help you get the best value and performance out of the system. With our bespoke maintenance packages, you will benefit from routine inspections, carried out at regular service intervals by our qualified technicians, keeping your alarm system compliant with current Standards and improving the lifespan. You will also benefit from discounted call out rates and 24-hour support.
Video Surveillance Systems
As one of the world’s most popular and socially present forms of surveillance, VSS, previously known as CCTV, enables you to record and react to incidents. VSS has become an essential tool to help reduce crime.
Prior to fitting VSS technology, we will perform an in-depth risk analysis of the given site before offering three levels of security that will be tailored to the specific property and suggested client preferences. While we aim to make use of existing equipment if it’s deemed fit for purpose, we take a strict approach when it comes to ensuring that the technology is up-to-date and relevant. With this in mind, we may suggest new solutions that are ideal for both you and your budget.
A Video Surveillance System is a crucial part of your security system and should be maintained regularly to ensure the system remains fully operational. With our bespoke maintenance packages, you will benefit from routine inspections, carried out at regular service intervals by our qualified technicians, keeping your VSS system compliant with current Standards and improving the lifespan. You will also benefit from discounted call out rates and 24-hour support.
Thanks to our state-of-the-art surveillance facilities confined within our Alarm Receiving Centre / Remote Video Response Centre (also known as ‘The Vaults’), we are also able to monitor your premises via the use of motion detection. BS 8418 Detector-Activated VSS Monitoring ensures we are alerted to all activity which allows us to act on potential crimes immediately to help diminish the risk of their manifestations. On the rare occasion of an intruder or other incident, the relevant emergency services are contacted immediately.
As an SSAIB-certificated provider, we continually demonstrate confidence and competence in the design, installation and maintenance of compliant Video Surveillance Systems.
Access Control Systems
We offer a range of solutions to control access and egress to your premises, including Electronic Access Control, Door Entry and Remote Open/Close.
Electronic Access Control
Electronic Access Control is a secure, convenient and flexible way of controlling who has access, and when, to a property, building or room. An EAC system uses electric locks, a card / biometric reader and access control tokens (such as keycards or keyfobs). The system can be integrated with other security systems including Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms and VSS/CCTV. We can provide EAC systems with a full audit trail of access events.
Door Entry allows you to validate a visitor at your entry panel / Intercom before you grant them access via an Internal Monitor, Handset or Telephone.
A Door Entry System can be linked to an existing Electronic Access Control System or be used standalone. It can also be linked to your Car Park Gate through automation.
As opposed to simply relying on traditional methods whereby an appointed staff member is responsible for locking up the property at the end of the day and opening the next morning, clients can now pass on the responsibly to us through the use of remote open and close.
Performed by our fully qualified control room personnel, located within our high security Alarm Receiving Centre/Remote Video Response Centre (ARC/RVRC), we can lock/unlock your premises, raise/drop any electric shutters and set/unset your alarm system, whilst monitoring a live feed from your VSS System.
Clients can reap the many benefits of remote open and close services – eradicating lone worker issues and provide substantial cost savings and carbon footprint reduction compared to manned building lockup as no vehicle attendance or transport is necessary.
Remote Access Control allows us to schedule the opening and closing of your buildings whilst also allowing flexibility for the unexpected, whether that’s an engineer attending or a late stay, your buildings are available to all the right people at the right time for you.
As an SSAIB-certificated provider, we continually demonstrate confidence and competence in the design, installation and maintenance of compliant Access Control Systems.
As part of our pledge to ‘go greener’, we also provide energy management facilities that not only help you to save money, but help protect the environment too. This means that when security systems are disarmed, facilities such as thermostats and lighting will be automatically adjusted. By incorporating innovative cost saving technologies services into your workplace or home, you are actively helping to reduce your carbon footprint and ensure sustainable energy. Popular brands such as Crestron and Honeywell provide heightened convenience through the use of remote multi-room functions, controlled by smartphones or various other compatible wireless devices. In addition to managing both security and energy devices, the user will also receive mobile alerts and will have the flexibility to set preferred schedules that work around them. If you are looking for reliability, simplicity, personalisation and peace of mind, energy management facilities are key.
